Supreme Court upholds same sex marriage between
gay or lesbian couples resulting in counties issuing
licenses which are producing multiple weddings
throughout the state. A question still remains
as to whether a constitutional ban enacted by
ballot initiative could overturn this California
Supreme Court ruling.
