Tuesday, Election Day
There is a bill in congress to move federal elections
to Saturday or Sunday instead of Tuesday. Nothing
in the constitution requires Tuesday elections,
the states can hold state elections on any day
of the week, yet, since 1845, Tuesday is the day
the United States votes. Why?
